About SBCGlobal

SBCGlobal was a brand name for email and internet services used by SBC Communications, a telecommunications company based in San Antonio, Texas that grew out of Southwestern Bell Telephone Company.

In 2005, SBC Communications acquired its former parent, AT&T Corp., and became the new AT&T. AT&T still maintains sbcglobal.net email addresses.

Former SBCGlobal customers can still use their sbcglobal.net email address to access their email through AT&T Mail.
